Home-School Collaboration

Partnering with Parents
Learning Habitat actively fosters home-school collaboration, building strong partnerships with parents. As early as December 2002, we established our first Parent-School Group to enhance communication between the school and families. Many parents enthusiastically volunteer to support school activities, such as sports days, open days, and educational visits.

Enhancing Parent-School Communication
We regularly organise parent observation sessions, tea gatherings, and parent-teacher meetings, providing opportunities for parents to engage with the Principal and staff to discuss their child's progress. Additionally, we hold annual Parent Focus Groups, inviting representatives from each year group to share feedback on school management, curriculum planning, and activities. This collaborative approach helps us refine teaching quality and better support students' learning and development.

Creating Memorable Family Experiences
To help parents engage in their child's school life, we invite families to participate in parent-child outings, Christmas performances, and other events that foster cherished memories. We also recognise that parents may face challenges in child-rearing, so we host expert-led workshops and seminars on parenting strategies, equipping families with practical knowledge and skills.
We firmly believe that home-school collaboration is essential for children's holistic growth. Together with parents, we strive to create an exceptional learning environment where every child can thrive, flourish, and shine with love and support!
